In Autumn this year, CLOD ENSEMBLE will be collaborating with Art School – the fashion collective led by Tom Barratt and Eden Loweth – on the design for our new production Placebo.
This day-long workshop is an opportunity to gain insight into the process of collaboration, and to explore with us how dance, performance and fashion might meet in interesting ways.
During the day we will test out various design ideas and fabrics to work out how the design speaks to the subject matter of the show. Hopefully it will also surface some of the challenges that dance poses to designers and vice versa, and begin to offer some solutions.
