In conversation with Theo TJ Lowe

Join celebrated choreographer Theo TJ Lowe in conversation with performer Valerie Ebuwa, discussing his work both on stage and how he translates his movement practice to the screen. Theo will also share a selection of his own warm-up exercises in this workshop.

About Theo TJ Lowe:
Born and raised in London, Theo trained at the Brit school for Performing Arts & Technology and Laban graduating with a BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre after which achieving a Post Graduate at London Contemporary Dance School. Performing and touring with companies such as Hofesh Shechter, T.R.A.S.H-(Netherlands), The Drowned Man PunchDrunk Theatre, Akram Khan company’s production iTMOi as well as the Olympic opening ceremony. And most recently National Theatres, Salome (London) 2017. Theo is an associate artist at Akram Khan Company as well as the new associate artist at Trinity Laban. He has been choreographer/movement coach for singer/songwriter FKA Twigs and a movement coach for Paloma faith.

 
This online workshop is part of our artist development programme, Reboot, which connects and cross-pollinates creatives across disciplines – from the worlds of music, theatre, visual art, architecture and healthcare. We have been providing free professional development opportunities to artists for many years.
