In this pre-show discussion, Artistic Directors Suzy Willson and Paul Clark will talk about the themes and processes that underpin our latest show Placebo. Research has suggested a number of factors which may contribute to the placebo effect. In this discussion chaired by Bobbie Farsides – Professor of Clinical and Biomedical Ethics at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, conversations will illuminate some of the ways that the show has drawn on this research and what an artistic perspective can bring to the subject matter.
