ZERO
17 – 18 January 2025
19:00 & 20:30
Clod Ensemble Studios, SE10 0BQ
Twelve years on from its premiere at Sadler’s Wells in 2013, Zero is back for a special studio performance at Clod Ensemble’s London home.
This is a rare chance to experience Paul Clark’s exhilarating score, played by a live 7-piece band featuring incredible musicians including vocalist Hazel Holder, harmonica player Johnny Mars and drummer Vanessa Dominique. The band will play selected tracks including Weather Blues and Sweet Mimosa joined by a company of brilliant dancers including Ramona Nagabczynska and Ino Riga.
Join us at our rehearsal studio for this intimate reinterpretation of a Clod Ensemble classic. Tickets are limited to just 40 for each performance. Come pre-show to have a drink in the studio bar, which will be open 30 minutes before each performance.
Clod Ensemble Studios is a 2 minute walk from North Greenwich station, Jubilee Line, 8 mins from London Bridge.
Performers: Ramona Nagabczynska and Robert Bell. Still from rehearsal footage by Khaki Films. "[The] performers create their own visual language onstage: tough, savvy, a combination of classical rigour and popular culture irony and playfulness […] Singers Johnny Mars and Hazel Holder provide stunning vocal accompaniment to a five-piece band performing catchy, compelling songs and thrilling music throughout.” The Stage
