The Red Chair is a surreal ballad which tells the story of a man who could not stop eating, the wife doomed to cook his meals and their “inveesible” daughter.
Paul Clark’s score for string quartet, bagpipes and electronics was written to gently weave a path through the rich texture of the spoken word.
