Catalyser 2024 Is Go

After a successful launch season in 2022, we are delighted to be welcoming a new cohort of 18-25 year-olds from all backgrounds and artistic disciplines to Greenwich Peninsula for a bespoke artist development programme.

Last month we saw 22 young creative practitioners come together to share, devise and develop their creative practice for the first phase of Catalyser 2024.

The April programme began with a series of workshops held at Clod Ensemble Studios. Participants worked with Suzy Willson & Paul Clark as well as a selection of our associate artists and guest facilitators.

These workshops focussed on a broad range of creative practices – movement, theatre, sound design, visual arts, architecture – with the intention of bringing young artists together in an environment of interdisciplinary sharing.

Going forward, this year’s participants will gain access to a wealth of resources and support from Clod Ensemble as part of Catalyser. The Catalyser 2024 offering includes one-to-one mentoring for a 6-month period, 120 hours’ free access to Clod Ensemble’s studio space, opportunities for paid work placements and access to Clod Ensemble’s wider artist development offering.

Catalyser is a part of Choreozone, Clod Ensemble’s multi-year project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Choreozone focuses on the sharing and reinterpretation of Clod Ensemble’s rich multimedia archive.

This year’s Catalyser is made possible thanks to generous support from The O2, our neighbours on Greenwich Peninsula, as well as the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
