A Living Archive: Practitioners and Partnerships

The 2024 APAC (Association of Performing Arts Collections) Study Day brings together UK speakers from a range of disciplines spanning museums, performance companies, theatres and researchers, to discuss the role of a practitioner in the formation of performance collections and archives.

APAC is the membership organisation for professionals, specialists, and other individuals working with or interested in performing arts heritage in the United Kingdom and Ireland. APAC events are free to members, and a small charge to non-members. Travel grants are also offered to APAC members for events.

Speakers include Clod Ensemble’s co-Artistic Director Suzy Willson Suzy Wilson, Artistic Director Clod Ensemble as well as Suman Bhuchar (co-founder, ‘Retracing Our Steps’ initiative), Veronica Castro (project curator, V&A’s ‘DIVA’ exhibition), Adesola Akinleye (choreographer and artist-scholar), Daniel Albon (archivist, Rambert) and Jennifer Shufflebotham & Jim Ranahan (The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust).
