A new home for Clod Ensemble

We’re thrilled to announce that this Autumn we will be moving to our own rehearsal studio and offices on Greenwich Peninsula. The building is located in the new Design District (minutes away from North Greenwich Tube on the Jubilee Line) and is designed by Mole Architects.

In the Clod Ensemble Studios, we will be creating our own performance work as well as programming courses and workshops. It is a space to gather, create, make music, challenge, move and dream.

We are looking forward to making new connections in Greenwich. After being in North & East London for 25 years, it’s a big move. We will of course continue to work with our friends and colleagues in Hackney, which will always remain a special place to us.

This is an exciting new chapter for the company and we are fundraising to fit a sprung floor and sound system for everyone who gathers there to enjoy. If you can support us with however small or large a contribution it would be hugely appreciated.

We are gradually planning the live events programme in our new space, taking it one step at a time because times are so uncertain. We have a few offerings for the Autumn below:

Reboot: Movement directing music videos with Theo TJ Lowe. 23 October
Reboot: A hole in the shape of something with Tim Spooner. 27-28 October
Weekend yoga retreat with Angelika Grohmann. 6-7 November
Reboot: Stage Presence for Musicians with Rakhi Singh & Suzy Willson. 13-14 November

Explore the rest of our programme.

In the meantime, in two weeks our performance This Is My Room will be on in our current home The Rose Lipman Building, Hackney in from 24-28 September. We hope you can join us.
