Musical Scenes - Audio Page

Musical scenes comprised five musically unconnected scenes – a song, a guitar and flute duo with sampled voice, a piano solo and the two tracks below.

Frere Jacques (extract)

This is a variation on the famous tune. Visually, it was a poetic, wordless scene of a woman trying to rouse a man from sleep. This recording was made for rehearsal purposes – Calina sightread the piece with Paul accompanying on an old digital piano. This excerpt is the last 2 minutes of the scene.

Fly (extract)

Fly – is for a small jazz band, set to another nursery rhyme.  The original recording is lost. This re-recording was made in 2024 with Cherise Adams Burnett (vocals) , Lucy Shaw (bass), David Kayode (Tenor) and Donovan Haffner (Alto).
