Many of us spend much of our time in chaired meetings, from panel discussions to Q&As, and many of them don’t work. This is a practical workshop to share a set of tips and tricks on how to optimise the format. By the end you’ll have explored the most common pitfalls and learnt a set of expert moves. Come to share your experiences from the floor or the stage and boost your confidence and skills.
Daniel Glaser is director of Science Gallery London at King’s College London and writes a weekly column for the Observer Magazine. He has chaired conversations ranging from a chat in a pub to several thousand in the Albert Hall.
