Why have musicians working in so many different genres been so deeply drawn to the music of JS Bach – someone who died 270 years ago? Celebrated composer Errollyn Wallen shares some of her favourite pieces and discusses them with Clod Ensemble’s Co-Artistic Director Paul Clark – unlocking some of the secrets of this enduringly popular music, and exploring how it relates to the work people have been making more recently, from modern electronica and minimalism to 70s disco.
