Metamorphoses2

Young shoot of Monkshood plant: Karl Blossfeldt, early 20th century

metamorphoses

Metamorphoses is based on a handful of myths from Ovid's epic poem including: Narcissus and Echo, The Rape of Prosepine and The Sybil of Cumae. Featuring a new text by Peter Oswald.

"The Clod epitomise all that is best in devised and visual theatre - pure inspiration shot through with sheer imagination and verve ... Paul Clark's score is beautiful"What's On

Time is a circle, prophecies are facile:
Nothing and much is what I have to say.
I am dust, dust that cannot blow away.
Lord of Time,
Call back your hordes of moments that have flown,
Before her duties wear the moon away.
Too many revolutions, too much change –

Metamorphoses, Peter Oswald
